Management Trainee's are provided training with a hands on approach to retail banking. The training is designed to allow participants to build upon key fundamental skills in a sequential manner. Through a series of exciting and challenging assignments and targeted activities, trainee's gain practical branch and leadership experience. Trainees spend approximately 80% of their time on the job. They are exposed to a variety of retail banking functions in numerous banking centers. Trainees will have the opportunity to develop skills in sales, customer service, business banking, profit and loss, operations management and leadership through these assignments.
Trainee development is targeted in four areas: Sales and Service, Management and Leadership, Operations/Technical, and business skills. They will have the opportunity to demonstrate and build their skills in these four areas while in each assignment
Qualifications
Candidates will be evaluated on the critical skills needed to succeed in the sales/service setting of Retail Banking. Customer service, direct sales, relationship building and problem resolution experience are required. Candidates must quantify their ability to meet goals on an ongoing basis, have demonstrated interpersonal skills and experience in formal leadership roles. A minimum of 3-5 years Sales/Management experience is required, some Management experience in a Retail environment is preferred.
