Eat Chino Live Forever!
Here in the east valley at last one of the greatest (perhaps only) Chinese Mexican Resturant in the valley. Jade Red Chicken will melt in your mouth and with very meal a cookie.

Everything should end with a Snickerdoodle. It could cause world peace! - Zoot , posted 05/24/06

Love It
I also used to go frequently when I worked up north. Now I live in Chandler, and the new location is literally 3 minutes from me. Its hard to stay away. - Scott , posted 12/13/05

Finally in the East Valley!
Absolutely loved Chino Bandido when I lived in North Phoenix... now after waiting many, many years there is finally one down here in the East Valley...hurray!

Same "bare to the bones" environment, but also the same friendly service and great food!

We have been there a half dozen times since it opened up in June 2005. Been going with the chili relleno and jade red chicken burrito combo... but don't forget the jerk chicken either!

The new location is tucked behind some other buildings on the Southeast corner of Dobson Rd and Chandler Blvd. Seek it out... try the samples if you are a newbie... and a devotee to one of the Phoenix Metro's great "cult" favorite restaurants. - Ed , posted 07/27/05

Chino Bandido is the BEST!!
You must try their refried black beans. My favorite dish is the Jade Red chicken.

I used to eat there weekly when I worked near them. I started eating there when they first opened, and the owners were still there cooking. I was there when a fish and game warden designed their panda logo for them, too.

They used to give free samples of their unique menu items - I bet they still do... I'm so glad to see that they are still thriving - YUM!!

pretty good
it's cheap fusion chow. pretty good but not something to eat every day.

Think of it as chinese fast food cooked by mexicans. - steel , posted 01/18/05

Mexican/Asian Chino Bandido Takee Outee
We have been frequenting Chino Bandido for over 10 years. It is on 19th ave. just north of Greenway. They give you a taster of menu favorites and walk you through the ordering process. They have Jade red chicken, similar to orabge chicken but uniquely spiced. My daughter has been eating this since she could chew. She also loves the Chinese BBQ pork. This you can combo with pork fried rice and the yummiest black beans ever. I am vegetarian and have made up an egg foo young minus the pork and gravy wrapped up burrito style and slathered with their delicious thick plum sauce. It a unique, relaxed restaurant easily becoming an addicting favorite. - Gwyllion , posted 12/28/04
